EMAIL: "We are a happy newlyweds that are very much in love. But we also realize that love fades away over time, for most couples. We cherish our relationship and don't want our love for each other to ever change. Is there something we can do to make sure it never happens to us?"
We are receiving more and more emails like that one all of the time, because today's couples get it!
There was once a time when couples fell in love and simply assumed that they would always remain in love. The overwhelming majority of those couples have fell out of love since then and are starting to realize that you can remain in love for a life time - if you take proactive steps before your relationship runs into problem. And all relationships eventually will. This is why we are getting more and more emails from happy and in love couples, like the email above.
If you have a great relationship - you must do everything you can to make sure it remains great. You have way too much to lose!
Your committted relationship is one of the biggest investments you will ever make in life, and you should take every step humanly possible to protect it. Just think about it; you take proactive steps to protect your home and car by buying insurance - and both of those things are replaceable. But your relationship is priceless and could never be replaced. So wouldn't it make sense to take proactive steps to protect it? The key is to do it while your relationship is great. If you wait until your relationship is having problems - it may be too far goe to save.
